These Terms govern your use of naluarchitecture.com (the "Site"), operated by Nalu Architecture, Inc. ("Nalu," "we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site describes the professional services of Nalu Architecture, Inc. and provides general information, project examples, and downloadable guides. Nothing on the Site is architectural, engineering, legal, financial, or tax advice for any specific project or property. A written, signed professional-services agreement is required before any work is performed for you. Reliance on Site content without engaging Nalu under a signed agreement is at your own risk.
NALU® is a registered trademark of Nalu Architecture, Inc. The NALU wordmark, logo, wave mark, and related trade dress are proprietary to Nalu. You may not use, reproduce, modify, or display them without our prior written consent, except in accurate references to Nalu as an architectural firm.
All content on the Site — including text, drawings, renderings, photographs, videos, guides, and code — is © Nalu Architecture, Inc. unless otherwise credited. Design drawings prepared by Nalu remain the intellectual property of Nalu under California Business and Professions Code §§ 5536.22 and 5536.25 and applicable federal copyright law, regardless of whether a permit is issued or a project is built.
The PDF guides we offer are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share them intact with credit, but you may not repackage, resell, or republish them without written permission.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to view Site content for personal or professional reference. You may not scrape, mirror, republish, or use Site content to train machine-learning models without written consent.
The Site displays a mix of design renderings (some AI-assisted) and photographs of built and in-progress projects. Renderings depict design intent at a particular moment and may differ materially from as-built conditions, changed scopes, or unbuilt concepts. Do not rely on any image on the Site as a representation of a specific project outcome.

The Site links to and integrates with third-party services (Google Forms, Google Analytics, Netlify hosting, Zapier automation, YouTube, LinkedIn). Their terms apply to your use of those services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or availability.
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nalu disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nalu does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Building codes, zoning ordinances, permit fees, and municipal review timelines change frequently. Any code references, fees, or timelines mentioned on the Site are current only as of the date of the referenced content and are not a substitute for verifying current requirements with the applicable authority having jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Nalu Architecture, Inc., its officers, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nalu's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nalu Architecture, Inc. and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or its content.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect.
